From the friendly confines of a spare to bedroom in the year 2000 to now occupying a 22,000 sq ft facility housing a state-of-the-art retail store, warehouse, and corporate headquarters, TriSports.com is supported by 40+ staff members. As one of the largest triathlon stores in the world, we have made our mark by focusing our business model around personal relationships, customer service and giving back to the sport that keeps us growing.
An interesting facet of being online is that we are a global company and feel it is our responsibility to support the "local" triathlon communities that support us. We sponsor 80 athletes from around the world, help support/sponsor over 60 events around the world, and donate to several charities, including the Challenged Athletes Foundation. In all, TriSports.com has put over $650,000 back into the sport over the last 3-years alone. Our goal is not to simply sell the products people need in order to compete in the sport, but to actually help the sport grow. By supporting the clubs, teams, individuals, races and charities on a global scale, we are able to see the fruit of our efforts.
The runners’ den is a place where people interested in running and walking can go to find the latest and greatest in technical footwear and clothing, talk about training, get advice to stay injury free, and discover some local running routes either on the road or in the trails. All the staff at the runners’ den have extensive knowledge in foot mechanics and the need for providing you with the right footwear for your activities. Along with footwear, the runners’ den has great apparel and accessories that will help you along your path to fitness. For ladies, a great selection of sports bras from companies like Moving Comfort and Champion are available to make sure your runs and walks feel supported. They provide the expert opinions of a team of multidisciplinary health professionals and are growing to bring in services that will help clients reach their maximal health and performance potential by providing comprehensive and innovative rehabilitation and sport- specific training.
In 1987, along with his father, Dr. Gerry S. Frank, Brian Frank co-founded E-CAPS, a supplement line geared for endurance athletes that now consists of 18 products. Unfortunately Dr. Frank died of cancer in 1991 before he could have active involvement in E-CAPS. Brian continued doing research and developing new products and ultimately launched E-CAPS, a boutique nutritional supplement company with endurance athlete customers as his niche. In 1995, Brian introduced Hammer Nutrition Endurance Fuels and the unique modular fueling system to his existing company.
Brian moved his business and family to Whitefish, Montana, in 1995, a place ideal for enjoying his athletic pursuits, raising a family and managing a growing business. In 2007 the E-CAPS name was officially retired; now all of the products—both supplements and fuels—are under the Hammer Nutrition banner.
